Spam Assassin and other anti-spam and anti-virus tools are installed on our mail server in an effort to fight spam (unwanted, unsolicited e-mails) and virus-infected emails. All incoming and outgoing e-mail is scanned for viruses, trojans and spam-like features before it is sent out or enters a customers' inbox. Fighting spam is an ISP's daily duty and we dedicate resources to this endeavor as much as possible. None of us like spam.
"Ham" has become the jargon for "good email". Horizon Broadband tries to eliminate spam and tries to not interfere with ham.
